Yankee candles...

 

 

It may seem the only thing I love is beauty but I also LOVE candles especially Yankee candles. I have quite a few the picture above are all my favourite ones (fresh cut roses, summer scoop, Bermuda beach, soft cotton, mango peach salsa, pink grapefruit, pain au raisin , sugared apple, sea butter). I also have many of them in the bigger version, and the Christmas limited edition ones all in the big size because they smell amazing and Christmas is my favourite time of year so I always have to treat my self to a few of them.

 

In the uk the best place to buy them from is Clinton cards they have loads of them. Yankee candle do have there own shop but they are very hard to find I see more pop up nearer the Christmas time so keep an eye out!!

 

Yankees are quite expensive the small ones in the photo are around £1.90 witch is not to bad and I do like burning these from time to time they don't give as much of a smell when burning like the big ones do but they are around the 20 pound mark they do have a long burning time tho .

Morphe 35o palette !!

So I have finally got the morphe 35o palette and it was so worth the wait, this palette has 35 beautiful shades in most very natural toned with around 10 amazing glitter shades.

 

You can create so many looks with this palette amazing copper eyes , gold or all matte.

I got mine of a seller on ebay I did end up paying more for it but living in the uk its a lot for shipping from America to the uk. We do have it available at cult beauty but you have to sign up to a waiting list and I have been on it for months and I haven't been told its back in stock once.
If you are from the uk and are having the same problem I would defiantly look on ebay, before you buy make sure it is the real thing ask them to send you the receipt of the purchase and look at videos on youtube on how to spot a fake. Look at the person selling the palate how high there ebay score is and if anyone has put any negative comments. It Is defiantly worth paying the extra.





I love using the glitter shades slightly wet to get that metallic colour the bottom swatch is with out water and the top with it does make such a difference and makes it pop out more.

Overall this palette is amazing it has amazing transition shades , lid colours and even you could use them as eyebrow shades, all the colours are so creamy and not chalky at all witch you think they would be , by far the best palette I have came accost would recommend it to everyone.

I have recently had a eBay shop and came across some gems , so I thought I would share them with you ...

This a 10 piece makeup brush kit, it has a range of bigger brushes you could use for foundation and for setting under the eyes and buffing makeup in and then 5 smaller brushes I use for blending my eye shadows or even for blending concealer in. I love this brush I use if for applying my foundation when I want a good coverage on my face its very well made and I find it really easy to clean it, I will normally go in with a blending brush after using this just to make sure its all blended in well , great value for money!

This tool is a must have when it comes to cleaning your brushes and with all these new cleaning gloves coming out at the moment this is a much cheaper version I have been using this every day since it came it makes cleaning your brushes so easy. It has a hole in the middle what allows you to put your fingers so you can really get a good scrub off your brushes !

I got these glitters off eBay they have a massive range of shades and I use either the two faced glitter glue or an eyelash glue works just as good. On eBay they have loads of deals when you buy 3 get 3 free for example and are normally priced around a pound so for 6 glitters is 3 pounds !!! They look amazing on eyes and would be good for the festival times.

Ebay Is the best place for buying acrylic storage. I love the lipstick holders there so good and so worth the money and can see you lipsticks much easier.

Pamper nights...

I love pamper night after a long day at work they are just the best, here are some of the things I include in my evening...


♥ Running a deep hot bath with a bath bomb in one of my favourites is sex bomb from lush.
♥ Making a hot drink or I am loving ice cold coffees at the moment the caramel one from McDonald's is delicious !
♥ Taking all my makeup off and putting a thick moisturiser on or before do a face mask I love doing a hydration one.
♥ Washing hair I love the Paul Mitchell smoothing shampoo and conditioner.
♥ Self tanning , I am currently loving bondi sands tanning mouse.
♥ Light a candle even if its only me I still love having a candle burning it just makes the room smell lovely and is relaxing.
♥Paint nails I wear acrylics with gel on my hands but I always like to do my toe nails especially in the summer.
♥ Put a film on, my favourite film is dirty dancing if you haven't seen it you have got to! I also just went to see absolutely fabulous and it was hilarious.
♥ Eyebrows! I do my own eyebrows I love to do them once a week and sometimes tint them just so if I go out with out makeup on they don't look as bad its not hard at all to do them your self you can get dying kits in superdrug and boots.
♥Moisturiser I love to moisturise my whole body after having a bath the body shop body butters are just the best!

The best of cheap makeup!

 

I love expensive makeup but I don't always have 30 pound to spend on a foundation and 20 on a lipstick, there is some good quality cheap makeup in the drug stores these are some of my favourites that I would say are just as good as high end makeup , hope this is helpful.

Mua undress me two palette

 

Undress me two palette - £4!!!

 

Yes that's correct I haven't just had a typing error this palette is £4 pound from MUA!

This palette has a good selection off matte and shimmer nude toned eye shadows, you can see from my swatches how pigmented they are for so cheap, your getting 12 shades for £4. This palette is a good dupe for the naked 2 palette by urban decay what is £38 pound!

 

These shades all blend beautifully the only thing I didn't like was the black felt very ruff and was not vey pigmented compared to the other shades when I was swatching them they all felt very soft and creamy where the black was very ruff and not smooth at all, but its not to hard to find a matte black somewhere else.

 

The shimmer shades in this palette look stunning and so pretty on the lid and there's a champagne coloured one that looks lovely as a brow bone highlight to just finish of that look.

 

I love this palette for the price its amazing definitely worth trying, if you have this palette let me know if your black eye shadow was ruff compared to the others or it may just be that I have a fault with my palette.

Maybelline - The nudes palette

Maybelline have recently brought out two new eye shadow  palettes one being called the nudes and the other called Blushed nudes palette. I much preferred the nude palette because  the blushed nudes had to many pink and purple shades in it and I don't tend to ever lean to them shades on me.

This palette has some beautiful shades in and all off them are soft and creamy and blend out beautifully, you can create a whole eye shadow look with this palette so its great for using when traveling instead of taking loads of single eye shadows with you. It has a mixture of mattes and shimmer colours in it and two pretty highlighting shades for under the brow bone.

This is one of the best drug store eye palettes out there in my opinion and is only £9.99 !

Mac eyeshadow must haves!

I love mac eye shadows, these are my 5 favourite ones...


Rule

Rule is a true strong orange colour I love this shade for a transition colour it makes other eye shadows blend beautifully and looks great on olive skin tones.


Texture

Texture is a  darker orange brown shade I love this to darken up my crease If rule is to bright for the look I am going for this eye shadow would suit a paler skin tone as a transition colour rather than rule.


Rice paper
 

Rice paper is one of my oldest favourites and one of my first mac eye shadows I love this shade as a base colour It just gives a lovely sheen to the eye nothing to heavy I love this shade for under my brow bone too its just a subtle but stunning shade.

Swish chocolate

Swish chocolate is a grey toned brown its blends beautifully for a natural smoked eye and is great for creating a smoked out eyeliner look.

Mythology

My last one is mythology its a beautiful copper shade I love copper eyes and this is the best one I have found, it looks stunning just put all over the lid I always spray my brush with makeup setting spray and then pick up the product just so it looks even more sparkly.

Simple cleansing facial wipes

These are my best makeup wipes I have ever tried and would never try anything different I have very sensitive skin and these are the only wipes that does not irritate my skin!

It says it removes waterproof mascara what is always a bonus, it has multi-vitamins in them, No alcohol, oil and no artificial perfume or harsh chemicals in them.

They make my skin feel so clean and fresh once I have used them I tend to use one every night sometimes after using my face wash or just using them on there own are brilliant to. With some makeup wipes I tried they left my skin feeling tight and sore and left my skin feeling really wet for a long time so I couldn't move on to do my skin care routine an till it had dried, but with these I apply my skin care seconds after using them and it all works wonderful together.

 

Defiantly worth trying!! They really are simple :)
